Iiiii love it so much; not sure I have anything deep or concrete to say. Pet the puppy! Take naps! It really is about the journey, and failing is great! (The Minotaur/Theseus 'ship name is apparently Burger King, just FYI.)

I started playing this game because of your tweets!! I’ve been enjoying it so much lately. Not only are the characters beautifully drawn, but their voices are so sexy!! Meagara’s in particular 😮‍💨. As someone who didn’t grow up playing videos games it really is the perfect way to get into it with not a lot of pressure.

I love Hades with all of my heart! I started playing it at the end of summer 2020 when the depression/anxiety was thick, and everything from the story to the graphics to the gameplay to the lore just swept over me like a tide. Especially failure as a mode of progress and a means of learning, the emphasis on trying having value and even death being just another means of moving forward, I loved it then and love it still, even 90+ runs into it.

Apologies if this is too presumptuous but I really internalized a lot of the lessons from Hades and wrote an essay about them last year for Tor.com (well before we saw how rough 2021 could be as well); with your excitement for Hades, I'd been hoping to share it with you, and thought now might be a good time with this post! Really glad you're enjoying the game and can't wait to see what you think as you continue =]

I started this game over the holidays based in part on your tweets / recommendation and I’m LOVING it. It’s shocking how mentally soothing it is right now to have a game where dying isn’t a full reset and sometimes helps you get new things. Plus it rewards the mythology minor I spent all that time on in college and rarely use now.

My 12 year old son has been playing this game quite a bit. He loves it. I hadn't really dug into it myself.
