I just got back from a long weekend in the high desert of CA (near Joshua Tree and Big Bear). I had traveled before, but it was my first time to a new place by myself, and I had forgotten how much I enjoy doing that! I wrote drafts of 7 poems in 2 1/2 days thanks to prompts from a 30 for 30 workshop I'm taking. It was so good! I understand your exhilaration!
