I saw this in my inbox and instantly yelled YES. YES. Oh come on is the mood of the year. Senioritis where I've been putting in all the work and now I have to do MORE WORK to make up for the slackers. Blergh.
Saeed, you are wonderful. Your voice feels like a best “get a grip” friend and I am thankful for your for insights and the way you capture and share truths. Good luck to all of us navigating this next phase. And YES there are no such things as normal holidays. They can be FRAUGHT!
I have young kids so the only thing I’ve gotten to do is cheer people on as they’ve taken tentative steps to start traveling and going to restaurants. I’m sorry that’s being taken away from us. I love you all. I’m glad we’re here.
YES, thank you for this! I look forward to your posts, and I'm really loving the voice notes. This one in particular made me feel comforted. Not only are you hilarious (and an astonishingly talented writer/thinker), there's such warmth to you, and I really appreciate that, particularly right now.
Thank you so much for this. As the days feel darker I hope you too know you are not alone. That we are here for you as you are for us. You, and your words, are loved. Stay well

It just feels like we’re still in a Twilight Zone!!
